Healing Eczema

Eczema has been linked to dietary issues, a lack of good fats and oils in the diet, and a damaged gut.  Triggers can include trauma, suppressive treatments such as antibiotics, and vaccination.  Dietary errors must be corrected first before our vitality is able to heal the presenting symptoms.  By following this plan for three months, you should start to see some measurable improvements.

Diet

Cut out white refined sugar, gluten, all processed foods, dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, eggs, bananas, and potatoes from your diet.

Once the eczema has healed, try re-introducing nuts, eggs, bananas, and potatoes and note any flare-ups.

Citrus fruits and tomatoes may also be triggers.

Cook from scratch, including protein and complex carbohydrates with every meal, including two vegetables.

Add garlic, grated frozen ginger, and chilli in some meals.

Use iron or stainless steel pans, not aluminium.

Fats

Stop a low-fat diet.  Saturated fats are important.  Read Sally Fallon’s ‘Nourishing Traditions’ or visit the Weston A Price Foundation website: https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/know-your-fats/the-skinny-on-fats

Stop using industrialised omega-6 oils such as vegetable oil, soybean, corn, or canola. Avoid most seed oils.

Increase good fats in your diet.  Cook with Avocado Oil, Sesame Oil, and Coconut Oil.

Avoid vegetable oil, palm oil, rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, and canola oil.

Roast vegetables in Goose Fat.

Never heat olive oil. Use Extra Virgin Olive Oil for pouring on salads only.

Use raw butter for spreading – Insigny Sainte Mere Unpasteurised Salted Butter is a good brand that can be found on Ocado or in Waitrose.

Avocados are a source of good fats.

Fish high in Omega-3 fatty acids and low in mercury include: anchovies, wild Alaskan salmon, sardines, herring, and freshwater trout.

Nutritional Oils

The best way to nourish the skin is from the inside, using good oils and fats in your diet.

Take daily:

  • Cold-Pressed Flaxseed Oil – 1 tsp.
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil – 1 dsp.
  • Vitamin E with mixed tocopherols.
  • Black Seed Oil – 1tsp.
  • Hemp Seed Oil.

Lifestyle

Cut out alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, and street drugs.

Do not buy personal care products for the skin from supermarkets or pharmacies, as they will likely contain harmful chemicals such as sodium laureth sulphate or PEG, amongst other things.

Buy natural, handmade soaps from individual makers.  Calendula or Goat milk soap can be calming for inflamed skin.

Practice regular yoga and breathwork to calm the nervous system.

Supplements

Star Flower Oil (more GLA than Evening Primrose Oil).
Fish Oil in the form of Rosita Cod Liver Oil Capsules.
Vitamin C in the form of Acerola Cherry Powder.
Magnesium Complex Capsules reduce inflammation.

Gut Healing

There is a link between eczema and candida overgrowth.

Take Oregano Oil capsules three times a day for up to 3 months.

Include lots of garlic in your diet.

Add a tablespoon of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with The Mother to a glass of water and drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.  Do this for a maximum of three months.

Ointments

Avoid any creams bought from the chemist, supermarket, or prescribed by a doctor.

Ensure the skin doesn’t dry out by using natural oils on the skin.

To nourish the skin, massage with Johoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil with a couple of drops of Lavender Oil or Chamomile Oil.

Chickweed Balm is very calming and protective.

Shea Butter can be mixed with essential oils.

Pure Lanolin, derived from sheep wool, is a powerful, natural moisturiser closely resembling human skin oils.

Aloe Vera gel is soothing.

Detox

Add three handfuls of Epsom salts and some drops of Lavender Oil to baths for a detox and magnesium boost.

Homeopathy

Constitutional treatment should be sought from a registered Homeopath.

Shamanic Healing

When an illness is persistent and debilitating, it can be a very strong signal that there is a deeper root cause. Deep-seated emotional and energetic factors can manifest as serious physical issues.

Often, healing cannot occur on the physical plane until any spiritual blockages have been removed.

If changes in diet and lifestyle for at least six months make no difference, it is a sign that the root cause isn’t originating on the physical plane, and we must consider the possible energetic and spiritual origins.

1. Suppressed Negative Emotions
It could be the expression of deeply suppressed negative emotions absorbed from the environment or past experiences.

2. Past Life Trauma
Negative trauma from past lives can leave an energetic imprint which carries over into the present life like an old programme that is still running in the subconscious.

3. Attachments
Attachments in the energetic field can negatively influence the host, creating irritation as they extract life force.

These toxic energies can accumulate, weakening the body and preventing it from healing itself.

Shamanic Healing will promote healing on a spiritual level by removing past life trauma, negative energy trapped in the body, or entity attachments feeding on your life force energy.
